Building optimisation and innovation characterise Polyclose 2020

Over 14,000 visitors attended the 19th edition of the European trade fair for window, door, sun protection, façade and entrance technology

The window, door, sun protection, entrance and façade technology sector is doing great business and innovating. That was the central message of the 19th edition of the Polyclose trade fair, which took place from 15 to 17 January 2020 at Flanders Expo in Ghent. It was a top edition with numerous premières and innovations. Here are a few impressive figures: 250 European exhibitors, spread out over 28,000 m² of surface area at the trade fair, and 14,326 professional visitors!

For three days, the theme at Flanders Expo in Ghent was innovation and ambition in the world of window, door, sun protection, entrance and façade technology. More than ever, exhibitors at the European trade fair invested in beautifully finished stands. Leading companies and young market players alike from Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy… showcased their latest innovations. Think for example of providers of window, door and façade systems, coatings, seals, glass, gates and fences, access control, sun protection, etc. As Polyclose takes place at the beginning of the year, visitors to the networking and trade fair got a complete overview of the offer in 2020. 25% of the visitors came from the Netherlands, meaning that for many exhibitors Polyclose is not only a crucial gateway to the Belgian market, but also to the entire Benelux and surrounding regions.
